Where Advanced Haptics Meet Human Connection

Re-connecting the Deaf community to the acoustic world through state-of-the-art neuro-engineering

Opening the Acoustic World

For most, the soundscape of daily life is a given. However, for the vast majority of Deaf individuals without cochlear implants, these acoustic cues are missing. We viewed this not as a limitation, but as an invitation to innovate. Combining neuroscience with advanced engineering, we set out to answer a singular question: If the ears cannot hear, can the skin listen?

Neuroscience, Translated into Vibration

ACETT (Auditory Communication Enhancement Through Touch) is the culmination of years of research into haptic feedback and sensory substitution.

Our technology leverages the brain’s natural plasticity. By converting sound waves into precise, algorithmic vibrations, including the 200–300 Hz range—the “sweet spot” for tactile perception—ACETT allows the brain to interpret friction and vibration as sound.

We have taken complex signal processing and packed it into a wearable that is intuitive, elegant, and effective.

Built With the Community, Not Just for It

True accessibility cannot be designed in a lab alone. ACETT was developed through a rigorous User-Driven Design process.

From the initial prototype to the final ergonomic interface, we collaborated directly with Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing beta testers. Their feedback dictated our algorithms, our fit, and our features.

The result is a device that doesn’t just work theoretically—it fits seamlessly into the reality of Deaf life.

Restoring the Rhythm of Life

ACETT transforms the abstract concept of sound into tangible feelings through four distinct profiles:

  • Speech Perception: Distinguish voice patterns to improve lip-reading and connection.
  • Environmental Awareness: Feel the city—approaching cars, sirens, and alerts—for increased safety.
  • Music & Rhythm: Experience the beat and texture of music through your skin.
  • Connection to Nature: Re-engage with the subtle sounds of the environment.
ACETT Pre-Order

Scientific Validation & Certified Safety

We believe in proving our results. Our clinical pilot studies demonstrate that ACETT creates a clear trend of improved word recognition by stimulating the brain’s auditory centers through the skin. But innovation must also be reliable. That is why we subjected the device to rigorous safety testing, fully satisfying CE marking standards to provide you with technology you can trust completely.

Pioneering Haptics through Science

We bridge the gap between academic rigor and practical engineering.

Our work is validated by research in leading scientific journals and secured by two international patents regarding our method and interface.

To translate this high-level science into a wearable device, we bypassed standard components and built our own high-performance electronics, ensuring that every vibration delivers the optimal sensory experience.

An Intelligent Companion

Mastering tactile sound is a journey, and our app is your guide.

It combines real-time speech-to-text translation with a robust training suite, allowing you to practice specific words and test your progress with expert-supported exercises.

Beyond training, ACETT seamlessly integrates into your digital life—simply plug into your computer or smartphone to “feel” your favorite films and playlists with zero latency.

With regular firmware updates pushed directly through the app, your ACETT evolves with you, constantly refining its performance.
