1)Who we are
HGlove Demo is a simple, offline VR application that showcases the features of the HGlove haptic glove on Meta Quest devices. We do not run servers and we do not operate any cloud backend for this app.
2) What data we collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store personal data.
To operate Bluetooth features locally on your Quest device, the app may temporarily
access device/Bluetooth information (e.g., nearby device names, Bluetooth
addresses) strictly for on-device pairing and control. This data is not sent off your
device and not used to identify you.

3) How we process data (on-device only)
Any Bluetooth discovery, pairing, or control happens entirely on the headset to
connect the HGlove. We do not upload, share, or sell any data.
- No user accounts
- No cloud sync or remote logging
- No third-party SDKs for analytics/ads
4) Permissions we request (and why)
The app requests the minimum Android permissions required to scan and connect to
BLE devices:
- BLUETOOTH, BLUETOOTH_ADMIN, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT, BLUETOOTH_ADVERTISE, BLUETOOTH_SCAN (with neverForLocation) — connect to the HGlove and exchange data.
- ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION — Android
requirement for BLE scanning on some OS versions. We do not use these
permissions to collect or store location data. - INTERNET — Unity/OS dependency; the app does not transmit personal data.
5) Data sharing
We do not share data with third parties.
We do not sell or “share” data as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
6) Data retention
We do not retain personal data. Any temporary operational data lives only in memory
or local app storage and is cleared when the app is uninstalled or app data is cleared.
7) User rights & deletion
Because we don’t collect personal data, there’s nothing for us to access, correct,
export, or delete on your behalf. If you have questions, contact
support@irerobot.com. You can also clear the app’s local data or uninstall the app at
any time.
8) Children
This app is a general-audience demo and does not target children. We do not
knowingly collect personal data from children.
9) Security
- No network transmission of personal data.
- All Bluetooth communication follows platform security rules.
- Standard platform protections (Quest/Android) apply to local storage and
permissions.
10) International compliance
We designed this app to minimize data collection and to avoid processing personal
data. If you are in a jurisdiction with privacy rights (e.g., EU/EEA, UK, US states
including CA/VA/CO/CT/UT), you may still contact us at support@irerobot.com with
any privacy request and we will respond consistent with applicable law — noting that
we do not hold personal data for this app.

If we change how the app handles data (for example, if we later add analytics or
online features), we will update this policy and the “Effective date” above
