🔷 Based in Science

ACETT’s technology is based on peer-reviewed studies showing that the brain meaningfully integrates touch and sound, especially in key frequency ranges:

• Xydas et al. (2020) – Audiotactile integration in the Pacinian corpuscle’s frequency range → Perception improves when touch and sound combine in the 200–300 Hz range. 🔗

• Wilson, Reed, Braida (2010) – Integration of auditory and vibrotactile stimuli: effects of frequency → The brain combines sound and vibration best at certain frequencies. 🔗

• Schürmann et al. (2006) – Touch activates human auditory cortex → Touch alone can activate the auditory cortex, showing strong links between senses. 🔗

These findings form the scientific foundation for ACETT’s tactile-based design.
